Here at Superior Vocations Center we offer a variety of services to meet the specific needs of our individuals. Each individual has the opportunity to contribute to his or her own well being and to the community in which they live.
Vocational Evaluation is a diagnostic program providing a vocational educational, and social assessment of a person, enabling him/her to develop a realistic, attainable vocational plan and goals.
Work Adjustment Training
Work Adjustment Training is a program designed to offer training and direction to individuals who are capable and willing to meet the demands of competitive employment. This program provides training to individuals on work skills and behaviors, in addition to job seeking skills; i.e. applications, resumes and interviews. A Work Adjustment Plan is developed to meet consumer specific needs and interests.
Job Placement is a program providing assistance to individuals in finding a job, and personal follow-up insuring conditions of employment are being met by both employee and employer. Job development, interview presentation, and employer employee match are also provided as part of this process.
Prevocational Services is a program providing long-term support enabling individuals to participate in SVC's work programs develop work and related abilities, and improve work performance. These services are provided to individuals who are willing and able to work, but are unable to hold competitive employment.
Supported Employment is a program providing work in community settings for individuals, who, because of their impairments, need ongoing support services to find and perform this work. These services include specialized and intensive assessment and training, and provides broader community based services to disabled individuals.
